The History of BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK is a South Korean female singing group consisting of four members: JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ, and LISA.

Jennie was the first member confirmed in 2016, followed by Lisa. Lisa was the first foreigner to join YG. Jisoo and Rosé were then revealed to be the last two members.

The group’s name BLACKPINK means “pretty isn’t everything” and “they are a team that includes both beauty and great talent.“

Also, it’s the first time since the Spice Girls’ “Spiceworld” tour in 1998 that a female group has sold more than 1 million tickets for a tour.
